Chevron Smashes Q2 Earnings Expectations with 56.3% Revenue Growth
Chevron (NYSE: CVX) released its Q2 CY2026 results, exceeding market expectations. The energy company reported revenue of $70.06 billion, a 56.3% year-over-year increase and 5.7% above analysts' forecasts.
Its non-GAAP profit of $6.06 per share was 8.8% higher than consensus estimates. Chevron's operating margin reached 24.3%, up from 9.9% in the same quarter last year, while its free cash flow margin stood at 25.8%, a significant improvement from 10.9% in Q2 CY2025.
The company's oil production saw a notable surge, increasing by 22.5% year-over-year. Chevron's market capitalization stands at $380.3 billion.
