Chicago Board of Trade Markets Close Mixed August 28

The Chicago Board of Trade reported the closing prices for Friday, August 28. Corn Futures saw September up by half at $5.11 and December up 2 at $5.36.

Soybean Futures followed a similar trend with November up 19 at $12.87 and January up 19 at $13.02. Wheat Futures rose as well, with December up 22 at $7.83 and March up 21 at $7.97.

Live Cattle Futures declined, however, with October down 110 at $211.82 and December down 100 at $213.80. Feeder Cattle Futures also fell, with September down 155 at $320.90 and October down 132 at $316.75.

The Andersons reported crop prices for corn and soybeans, with 2026 Crop Corn up 3 at $6.77/BU and 2027 Crop Corn up 8 at $6.37/BU. The same report showed 2026 Crop Soybeans up 20 at $16.78/BU and 2027 Crop Soybeans up 14 at $15.72/BU.

Snobelen Farms also reported crop prices, mirroring The Andersons' numbers for corn and soybeans.
