Chicago Board of Trade Sees Mixed Results Amid Corn and Soybean Gains
The Chicago Board of Trade reported mixed results for Monday, September 14. Corn futures saw increases in both December and March contracts, with December up 3.5 cents at $5.34 and March up 3 cents at $5.48.5.
Soybean futures also rose, with November increasing by $8.5 to $13.05 and January rising by $8.5 to $13.20.5.
However, wheat futures were down, with December decreasing by 3.25 cents at $7.22 and March falling by 1.5 cents at $7.39.5.
The Andersons at Hensall reported similar price increases for their crop corn, up 3 cents at $6.78/BU for 2026 and up 3.25 cents at $6.50/BU for 2027. Their crop soybeans were also up, with 2026 increasing by $7.5 to $17.19/BU and 2027 rising by $8.25 to $16.19/BU.
Soft White Winter Wheat prices from The Andersons were down, with 2026 decreasing by 3.25 cents at $8.52/BU and 2027 falling by 0.5 cents at $8.95/BU. Soft Red Winter Wheat was also down, with 2026 decreasing by 3.25 cents at $8.52/BU and 2027 falling by 0.5 cents at $8.95/BU.
Snobelen Farms reported similar price increases for their crop corn, up 3 cents at $6.78/BU for 2026 and up 3.25 cents at $6.45/BU for 2027. Their crop soybeans were also up, with 2026 increasing by $7.5 to $17.09/BU and 2027 rising by $8.25 to $16.14/BU.
The Ontario Pork Reports stated that the U-S CME price was down $0.40 from the previous day at $87.75 U-S per hundredweight, dressed weight, while the 100% formula price decreased by $0.31 to $220.22 per hundred kilograms, dressed weight.
