Chicago Board of Trade Sees Mixed Results as Corn, Soybean Prices Rise
The Chicago Board of Trade saw some movement in futures prices on Friday, August 28. Corn futures for September and December both rose, with September increasing by half a point to $5.11 and December up 2 points at $5.36.
Soybean futures also gained ground, with November up 19 points at $12.87 and January rising by the same amount to $13.02.
Wheat futures saw increases as well, with December up 22 points at $7.83 and March up 21 points at $7.97.
In contrast, Live Cattle Futures for October and December both fell, with October down 110 points at $211.82 and December dropping by 100 points to $213.80. Feeder Cattle Futures also declined, with September down 155 points at $320.90 and October down 132 points at $316.75.
