Chicago Board of Trade Sees Significant Price Movements on August 14
The Chicago Board of Trade saw significant price movements for various commodities on Friday, August 14. Corn futures for September and December experienced an 11% increase, with prices rising to $4.59 and $4.83 per bushel, respectively.
Soybean futures also saw a notable rise, with September up by 10% at $11.76 per bushel and November up by 9% at $11.91 per bushel.
On the other hand, Live Cattle Futures declined, with October down by $127 at $218.77 per hundredweight and December down by $120 at $218.25 per hundredweight.
The Ontario Pork Reports stated that the U-S CME price was down by $0.14 from the previous day to $95.80 per hundredweight. The 100% formula price also decreased, dropping by $0.21 to $241.81 per hundred kilograms.
