Chicago Futures Prices Surge on September 10, 2026
The Chicago Board of Trade saw significant gains in futures prices for various commodities on September 10, 2026. Corn futures rose 5 cents to $5.33 per bushel for December delivery and $5.48 for March delivery. Soybean futures also increased, with November deliveries up 22 cents at $13.31 per bushel and January deliveries up 21 cents at $13.47 per bushel.
Wheat futures saw a rise of 12 cents to $7.41 per bushel for December delivery and $7.56 for March delivery. Live cattle futures experienced significant gains, with October deliveries up $197 at $217.82 per hundredweight and December deliveries up $110 at $219.57 per hundredweight.
In the agricultural market, crop corn prices rose 6 cents to $6.79 per bushel for 2026 crops and $6.56 per bushel for 2027 crops. Soybean prices also increased, with 2026 crops up 22 cents at $17.42 per bushel and 2027 crops up 16 cents at $16.33 per bushel.
The U-S CME price for pork rose $1.02 to $88.30 per hundredweight, dressed weight. However, the 100% formula price fell $2.24 to $220.52 per hundred kilograms, dressed weight.
