China's Gold Reserves Reach $306 Billion Amid Ongoing Accumulation
China's central bank has announced that its gold reserves have increased to $306.35 billion by the end of July, marking the continuation of a 20-month streak of consecutive monthly purchases.
The People's Bank of China (PBoC) reported the rise in gold reserves from $303.72 billion at the end of June, with market participants attributing the increase to both ongoing acquisitions and price adjustments.
The recent dip in bullion prices did not deter the PBoC, which continues its strategy of accumulating gold, a move that may influence global pricing dynamics and demand for the precious metal.
