Chord Energy Exceeds Expectations with Strong Q2 Results
Chord Energy Corporation reported its second quarter 2026 financial and operating results, exceeding expectations in cash flow from operations and adjusted free cash flow.
The company's oil volumes were at the high end of guidance at 165.4 million barrels per day (MBopd), while capital expenditures were modestly below midpoint guidance at $416MM (excluding reimbursable non-op CapEx).
Chord returned 54% of adjusted free cash flow to shareholders through a base dividend of $1.30 per share and $147.4 million in share repurchases.
