The gold market has seen a decline in prices, according to recent data from the New York COMEX commodity exchange. December 2026 gold futures per troy ounce (31.1 grams) decreased by 0.39% to $4,403.2. This marks a slight drop in the value of gold on this particular exchange.

The fall in gold prices is mirrored in the silver market. COMEX September 2026 silver futures have also fallen, decreasing by 1.74% to $62.92 per ounce. This decline suggests that both precious metals are experiencing some volatility at present.
