Commodity Prices See Mixed Results as Markets Close
Closing markets for Tuesday, September 8 saw mixed results across various commodities. On the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures took a hit, with December down 4 at $5.32 and March down 4 at $5.48.
Soybean futures, however, showed an uptick in prices, with November up 7 at $13.16 and January up 7 at $13.32.
Wheat futures also saw a boost, with December rising by 13 to $7.47 and March increasing by 12 to $7.61.
In the livestock sector, live cattle futures experienced significant gains, with October up 390 at $216.85 and December up 437 at $219.10. Feeder cattle futures also rose, with October up 535 at $325.50 and November up 582 at $320.55.
