Copper is often called 'Dr. Copper' due to its ability to diagnose global market shifts, but analysts warn that we may be heading for a structural copper deficit.

This deficit would result from massive demand fueled by the rise in consumption of electric vehicles (EVs), solar energy, and infrastructure projects.

According to S&P Global, global copper demand could jump from about 28 million tonnes today to nearly 42 million tonnes by 2040, a roughly 40-50% increase.
