Copper Futures Drop on Muted Domestic Demand
Copper prices have taken a hit due to muted demand in the domestic spot market. As of September 4, copper futures slipped by 65 paise to Rs 1,370.30 per kilogram in futures trade.
The decline was observed in the copper contract for September delivery, which fell by 65 paise in 2,375 lots.
According to traders, subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on the red metal's prices in futures trade.
