Copper Futures Rally on Higher Spot Demand
Copper futures rose on Tuesday due to higher spot demand, according to market data. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery gained Rs 4.30, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 1,381.25 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,380 lots.
The increase in copper prices is attributed to higher bets by participants, analysts said. The rise in demand has led to an uptick in prices, with August delivery contracts seeing the highest gains.
