Copper Hits Record High, Reaches $6.70 Per Pound
Copper prices have reached an all-time high, according to COMEX data. The price of copper per pound topped out at $6.70 on Thursday, representing a 52% increase from last year's value of about $4.50 per pound.
Montana Resources mining company is celebrating this record-breaking milestone, as they produce between 54 million and 70 million pounds of copper per year.
