Copper Intelligence Sees Record Copper Prices Boost DRC Asset Growth
Copper Intelligence (CUAI), a U.S.-publicly traded copper exploration and development company, is making progress in its Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) assets as global copper prices reach record highs.
The company's flagship Butembo copper project in Eastern Congo has seen drilling extended along strike to test the continuity and scale of mineralization. The presentation followed a mid-August announcement of new drill core data from Butembo, where additional drill holes (8 through 11) were expected to yield results by the end of August 2026.
Copper Intelligence has diversified its DRC footprint with the acquisition of the Kitungu Exploration License (PR-15880) in the Copper Belt of southern DRC. The company is positioning itself as the first stand-alone, DRC-focused copper company publicly traded in the United States.
