Copper Lake Seeks Up to $5M in Private Placement Financing
Copper Lake Resources Ltd., a Canadian mineral exploration and development company, has announced plans to complete a non-brokered private placement financing for up to $5 million.
The financing will consist of up to 33.3 million units priced at $0.15 per unit, with each unit comprising one common share and one warrant. The warrants can be exercised to purchase an additional common share at $0.20 within 24 months from the closing date.
However, there is an accelerated expiry clause for the warrants. After a four-month-and-one-day hold period, if the weighted average closing price of common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange exceeds $0.40 for 15 consecutive trading days, the company may accelerate the warrant expiry date to 30 days following a press release announcement.
The private placement is subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and other regulatory bodies. The net proceeds will be used for exploration at the Marshall Lake project and general working capital purposes.
