Copper Prices Dip Amid Stable Aluminum and Ferrous Markets
Copper prices have declined slightly in recent days, according to the latest daily scrap metal pricing update. Among copper categories, #1 Copper Wire and Tubing, #2 Copper Wire and Tubing, #1 Copper Bare Bright, and #3 Copper-Light copper all dropped by $0.02 per pound.
On the other hand, aluminum prices showed no movement on the August 27 index. Key grades like 1100 Scrap, 3003 Scrap, 356 Aluminum Wheels, 6063 Extrusions, 5052 Scrap, and 6061 Extrusions all held steady.
Ferrous scrap categories continued their flat trend, with #1 Bundle, #1 Busheling, #1 HMS, HMS 80/20, Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap, and Structural Steel all unchanged. Stainless steel grades also saw no variation in price.
