Copper Prices Fall Marginally Amid Muted Demand
Copper prices fell marginally in futures trade on Wednesday due to muted demand in the domestic spot market. The Copper contract for September delivery slipped Rs 4.45, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 1,367.95 per kg in 3,177 lots on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). This decline is a result of subdued purchasing activity in the copper market.
The muted demand has led to a decrease in prices, making it an unfavorable time for sellers. On the other hand, buyers may see this as an opportunity to purchase at lower rates. However, the market trend will likely depend on future demand and supply dynamics.
