Copper Prices Hold Above $14K as Dollar Weakness Trumps Inventory Rise

Copper prices held above $14,000 per metric ton as the weakening US dollar offset higher inventories on the London Metal Exchange (LME).

The LME's benchmark three-month copper price was down 0.04% at $14,043.5 a ton by 0300 GMT.

Total LME copper stocks rose to 235,975 tons, an 11% increase from the previous week but still 40% lower than three months ago.
