Copper Prices Spike on Higher Demand and Increased Bets
Copper futures rose by Rs 15.70 to Rs 1,388.35 per kg on Friday due to higher spot demand in India.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw copper contracts for September delivery increase by Rs 15.70 or 1.14 per cent to Rs 1,388.35 per kilogram in a business turnover of 10,250 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
