Corn and Soybean Futures Rise Amid Volatile Markets

The Chicago Board of Trade saw significant price movements for various commodities on Friday, August 28. Corn futures experienced an increase, with September contracts up by half at $5.11 and December contracts rising by two dollars to $5.36. Soybean futures also rose, with November contracts increasing by $19 to $12.87 and January contracts following suit by reaching $13.02.

On the other hand, Wheat Futures saw a substantial gain, with December contracts up by 22 cents at $7.83 and March contracts rising by 14 cents to $7.97. Live Cattle Futures, however, took a hit, with October contracts down by $1.10 at $211.82 and December contracts decreasing by $100 to $213.80.

Feeder Cattle Futures also declined, with September contracts dropping by $155 at $320.90 and October contracts falling by $132 at $316.75.
