Corn Falls as Crude Oil Retreats Amid Improving Weather
Corn futures fell on Monday, with contracts down by $0.025 to $0.135 across the board.
The decline was led by the front months and came after an improving weather forecast and losses in crude oil prices, which dropped by $7.40.
The USDA's FGIS reported that corn export shipments totaled 1.488 MMT during the week ending on July 23, a decrease of 7.74% from the previous week and 2.88% below the same week last year.
