Corn Futures Dip Amid Fractional Losses
Corn futures are experiencing fractional losses on Thursday, despite some initial support from wheat. The national average Cash Corn price has dropped by half a cent to $4.18 1/4. The commodity is expected to receive around 1-2 inches of rain over the next week in various regions, including eastern Nebraska and parts of the Dakotas.
The recent Export Sales data showed a 3-week high of 362,916 MT in corn sales for the 2025/26 marketing year. This is a 6.5% increase from last week's sales, which was also a marketing year low.
Looking ahead to future contracts, Sep 26 Corn is down half a cent at $4.48 1/2, while Dec 26 Corn and Mar 27 Corn have dropped by a quarter of a cent each at $4.71 1/2 and $4.87 respectively.
