Corn Futures Hit Highest Level Since July 2023 Amid Lower Yields and Export Disruptions
Corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade have surged by 3 to 5 cents per bushel, with contracts reaching new highs across the board.
The December corn contract climbed to $5.30 per bushel, marking its highest level since July 2023.
The gains can be attributed to lower expectations for U.S. corn yields and disruptions in Black Sea grain exports, which have provided support to prices.
