Corn Grind and Soybean Crush Numbers Show Strong Demand in June
The USDA's latest numbers show that demand for ethanol and soybean products remains strong.
Corn grind numbers indicate that 466.708 million bushels of corn were used for ethanol production in June 2026, down 1% from May but up 4% from the same period last year due to domestic and export demand.
This increase is attributed to solid margins, even if slightly narrower than expected.
Soybean crush numbers also saw an uptick, with 218 million bushels of soybeans crushed in June, a 5 million bushel increase from the previous month and 21 million more than last year.
