The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) is pushing for immediate bipartisan action after the Agriculture Act of 2026 failed to pass out of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.

The bill, also known as 'Farm Bill 2.0', included several key priorities for corn growers, including language allowing year-round sales of E15 fuels with 15% ethanol blends.

NCGA President Jed Bower expressed disappointment over the bill's failure and urged senators to approve a bipartisan farm bill that extends consumer access to E15, citing its importance in an otherwise dim economic outlook for farmers.
