Corn Prices Find Floor, Says Extension Economist
Mark Dorenkamp reported on August 13th that extension grain market economist Ed Usset believes corn prices have found a floor. According to Usset, new crop contracts are trending towards $5 per bushel, and he predicts corn will not dip below $4 this fall.
Usset made his statement at the University of Minnesota. While some may be concerned that prices could return to their June lows, Usset is confident a floor has been established under corn prices.
