Corn Prices Slide Amid Harvest Pressure Concerns
Corn prices have declined ahead of the morning market open on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. As of 9:30 a.m. CT, December corn was trading at $5.30½ per bushel, down nearly 3¢ from previous levels.
The Brock Report has issued a warning about harvest pressure facing the corn market, suggesting that prices may find support due to tight supply/demand fundamentals. The report estimates the 2026/2027 U.S. ending stocks/use ratio at 9.5%, below the USDA's estimate of 9.7%.
Other commodity markets have also seen fluctuations, with November soybeans unchanged at $13.04¼ per bushel and December CBOT wheat down 7¼¢ at $7.14¾ per bushel. October feeder cattle were down $1.85 at $336 per hundredweight (cwt), while the U.S. Dollar Index December contract was up to 99.30.
