Corn futures closed lower on Tuesday, pressured by crude oil's decline and weaker crop conditions. The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price fell to $4.13 1/2, down 7 1/4 cents from the previous close. The weekly Crop Progress report showed a 2% slip in condition ratings, with 61% of crops in good to excellent condition.

The Brugler500 index dropped 5 points to 356, with notable deterioration in North Dakota (-26%), Kansas (-20%), and Nebraska (-15%). Conversely, Iowa (+2%), Illinois (+4%), Indiana (+1%), and Ohio (+4%) showed improvement. The upcoming week is expected to bring precipitation across parts of the Midwest.

Corn exports reached a record 7.926 MMT in June, surpassing May's figure by 9.29%. Distillers' exports hit an 11-year high at 1.099 MMT, while ethanol shipments set a new record at 206.06 million gallons, up 8.65% from May.
