Costco Hikes Motor Oil Prices Amid Global Crude Shortages

Costco has increased the price of its Kirkland Signature full-synthetic motor oil from around $30 to approximately $58 for a 5-quart two-pack.

This price hike coincides with a purchase limit of two boxes per week, which may disappoint Americans looking to save money by doing their own oil changes amid high grocery prices and inflation worries.

The wholesale club operator has also restricted purchases of Mobil 1's full-synthetic motor oil 1-quart six pack to five units per membership, with a price tag of about $44 each.
