Costco Hikes Motor Oil Prices Amid Global Oil Supply Disruptions
Costco has raised the price of its Kirkland Signature full-synthetic motor oil and imposed purchase limits on shoppers. The new price for a 5-quart two-pack is around $58, up from approximately $30 last year.
The warehouse store has also limited how much consumers can buy, with a maximum of two boxes per week.
In addition to the Kirkland oil, Costco has placed purchase limits on Mobil 1 full-synthetic motor oil. The company is limiting sales of the 1-quart six-packs to five units per membership.
