Cotton Prices Jump Triple Digits on Wednesday
Cotton futures surged on Wednesday, closing between 243 to 294 points higher across the front months.
The gains were also seen in deferred contracts, which rose by 53 to 110 points. Crude oil prices increased by $1.90, while the US dollar index fell by $0.809.
The dryness forecasted for Texas and parts of the Delta is expected to continue over the next week, according to the NOAA's 7-day QPF.
