CPC Resumes Oil Shipments After Tanker Attacks

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has resumed oil shipments to tankers near Novorossiysk, Russia, after attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy said.

The CPC suspended loadings at its marine terminal on July 20 due to the attacks. However, with the resumption of operations, oil producers can now continue supplying crude to the pipeline system and resume export operations through the marine terminal.

The ministry confirmed that both tankers SEAMAJESTY and MILOS are currently being loaded at the CPC's two single-point moorings, taking on oil from Tengizchevroil LLP. The resumption of oil intake allows for a steady supply of crude to the pipeline system.
