Crude Oil Cautiously Climbs Amid Bearish Pressures
The crude oil price has seen cautious gains in its latest intraday trading as it attempts to recover some of its previous losses. Despite being oversold on relative strength indicators, the positive signals from these indicators suggest that the market is trying to offload some of this overselling. However, the dominance of bearish corrective waves on the short-term basis and the continued negative pressure from trading below the EMA50 are intensifying the negative pressure on the price.
A.O. Smith Corporation saw a positive push in recent intraday trading after finding support at its 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA). This allowed the stock to regain positive momentum and post strong gains, further strengthening the prevailing upward bias. Price action continues to move alongside a short-term bullish corrective trendline that reinforces this upward bias.
Silver and gold prices have also seen gains in their latest intraday trading. Silver breached its key resistance at $60.85, while gold surged higher after breaching the $4,1000 resistance level. Both metals are benefiting from dynamic support from trading above EMA50 and a bullish corrective trend on the short-term basis.
