Crude Oil Prices and FOMC Minutes Spark Market Volatility in India

The NIFTY50 index closed 0.8% lower at 24,366 last week, while SENSEX dropped 0.6% to 78,009.

NIFTY50 heavyweights like Titan, Grasim, Tata Motors PV, and others announced their quarterly earnings results in the last phase of Q1FY27.

Bharat Electronics (+2.4%), Dr Reddy's Labs (+2.4%), and Titan Company (+2.3%) were the top gainers among NIFTY50 stocks, while Max Healthcare Institute (-5.7%), UltraTech Cement (-4.0%), and TCS (-3.7%) were top losers.

Tata Group stocks came under scrutiny after Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said he will not seek reappointment when his current term ends on February 20, 2027.

Adani Group stocks also made headlines as the US court dismissed fraud charges against the company last week.
