Crude Oil Prices Plummet as Volatility Continues
Oil prices took a hit yesterday, July 24th, as market volatility continued to plague investors. The WTI Crude Oil (Light Sweet) price at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEХ) dropped by 2.86% to $89.31 per barrel.
The Brent Crude Oil price at London's Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) also suffered a decline, falling by 1.96% to $98.70 per barrel.
A barrel of oil is equivalent to 159.98 liters, providing context for the significant drop in prices.
