Crude Oil Prices Plummet to $85.01 as Gasoline Falls

The oil price has experienced a decline on August 24, 2026. Crude oil prices have fallen to $85.01 per barrel, marking a decrease of $2.05 from the previous day's rate. The Nymex MTD average price stands at $82.4517.

Natural gas prices have increased slightly, rising by $0.009 to $2.782. In contrast, gasoline prices have dropped by $0.0771 to $3.2708 per gallon.

The spreads for October/November and November/December contracts have widened by 1.71% and 1.96%, respectively. The Plains WTI posting price has also decreased to $81.49 per barrel, down from the previous day's rate of $83.54.
