Crude Oil Prices Soar on Global Supply Demands and Geopolitical Developments
Crude oil futures prices rose significantly on August 10th, according to recent data from Bitget. The September delivery light sweet crude oil futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange increased by $3.95 to settle at $82.13 per barrel, representing a 5.05% increase.
The October delivery Brent crude oil futures price in London also rose by $4.17, settling at $87.72 per barrel and marking a 4.99% gain.
The sharp increases were attributed to changes in global crude oil supply and demand expectations, as well as geopolitical developments that will likely impact the future trend of global energy market prices.
