Cyprus Gas Reserve Targets March 2028 Start Date for European Supply
Cyprus is poised to become an important energy supplier for Europe by supplying natural gas from its undersea reserves. According to Cyprus' Energy Minister Michael Damianos, European consumers can expect this new supply of natural gas by the first half of 2028.
This development comes as the EU seeks new sources of energy to meet growing demand and reduce reliance on external suppliers. The target date for the start of production is set at March 2028.
