Dangote Hikes Petrol Price Again, Now at N1,265/litre

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has raised its gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) for the third time in eight days, a move that will further increase petrol prices across the downstream market.

The latest adjustment takes the refinery's gantry price from N1,200 to N1,265 per litre, a rise of N65 per litre, effective Saturday. This brings the total increase within the period to N100 per litre or 8.6%.

Industry observers attribute the latest hike to volatility in the international oil market and concerns over crude supply and logistics costs.
