Delhi Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 100 Amid US-Iran Tensions
Gold prices in India's national capital, Delhi, rose by Rs. 100 per 10 grams on Tuesday to reach Rs. 1,47,500. Silver prices remained stable at Rs. 2,26,500 per kilogram.
The increase in gold prices was attributed to a cautious stance adopted by investors due to ongoing diplomatic developments between the United States and Iran, as well as uncertainty surrounding the future policy outlook of the US Federal Reserve.
According to Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst, Commodities at HDFC Securities, 'the bullion market has been range-bound over the past two sessions.'
In global markets, spot gold was trading lower at USD 4,049.20 per ounce, while Brent crude futures saw an increase of nearly 1 percent to trade at USD 84.36 per barrel in New York.
