Delhi-NCR CNG Prices Hike by Rs 3.89 per kg from August 29
CNG prices in Delhi-NCR have increased by Rs 3.89 per kg from August 29, making the fuel more expensive for vehicle owners and commuters. The revised rates apply to filling stations across the region.
The increase is attributed to higher input gas costs, particularly the rise in imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) sources a significant portion of its gas through imported LNG, whose spot market prices have increased since the West Asia conflict.
According to IGL, international LNG prices remain elevated, leading to a cost impact for the company. The Rs 3.89 per kg increase is intended to partially offset the rise in input gas costs.
