Diamondback Energy Beats Expectations with Q2 Earnings Growth
Diamondback Energy (NASDAQ: FANG) reported strong Q2 2026 earnings, driven by higher oil prices and production. The company's revenue rose to $5.56 billion, a 51% increase from $3.68 billion in the same quarter last year.
The increased revenue was partly offset by negative natural gas pricing, which fell to -$2.15 per Mcf. However, Diamondback's hedged combined realization remained above the unhedged figure at $52.90 per BOE.
Diamondback's production averaged 1.018 million BOE per day, surpassing the one-million-BOE threshold, while its realized oil price increased by approximately 53% to $96.82 per barrel.
