Diesel Price Remains Unchanged in New Delhi

The diesel prices in India have been steady at Rs 95.20 per litre in New Delhi for the past few days, according to a recent update from Hindustan Times. The prices have remained unchanged since July 31st.

In other major cities like Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, the diesel prices are Rs 90.03, Rs 99.55, and Rs 99.82 per litre respectively.

The current diesel prices in India are influenced by international crude oil prices, refining costs, excise duty, dealer commissions, and state-level VAT. The country imports around 80% of its oil needs, making domestic pump rates dependent on global prices.
