Diesel Prices Soar to Record High as Iran Conflict Continues

US diesel fuel prices have reached an all-time high of $5.85 per gallon, according to AAA, after increasing by more than 55% since the war in Iran began.

The surge in prices is largely due to the ongoing conflict's impact on global energy supplies, with refineries and oil transport routes affected by missile strikes and shutdowns.

The national average price of gasoline has also risen to $4.15 per gallon, a nearly 40% increase since hostilities began.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs note that refined product prices have increased faster than crude oil prices over the past six months.
