DLP's Aurora Copper-Molybdenum-Silver Project Boasts Positive PEA Results
DLP Resources Inc., an emerging player in Peru's copper and molybdenum sector, has announced positive preliminary economic assessment (PEA) results for its Aurora Copper-Molybdenum-Silver Project. The project, located 60 km northeast of Cusco, boasts significant multi-phase expansion potential.
The PEA establishes Aurora as a large-scale, long-life copper-molybdenum asset with an after-tax net present value (NPV)8% of $2,703 million and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 18.5%. The payback period from start of production is estimated at 5.2 years.
The PEA also highlights Aurora's potential for multi-phase underground expansion, with significant upside leverage to rising copper and molybdenum prices. At spot prices as of August 26, 2026, the project generates an after-tax NPV8% of $4,812 million, IRR of 24.9%, and payback period of 3.8 years.
