Dollar Decline Boosts Gold Prices Amid Interest Rate Uncertainty
Gold prices rose on Thursday as the dollar and US Treasury yields declined. By 02:19 GMT, spot gold was up 0.5% at $4,409.97 an ounce.
The previous day saw a new low in nearly a month for gold prices, but Thursday's rebound brought some relief to investors.
US gold futures also rose, increasing by 0.9% to $4,455.30 an ounce.
The dollar's decline and lower US Treasury yields made gold more attractive to investors.
