The dollar index rose by +0.26% on Thursday as crude oil prices and T-note yields surged.

WTI crude oil reached a 3.5-month high, boosting inflation expectations and possibly prompting the Fed to raise interest rates.

T-note yields also jumped, strengthening the dollar's interest rate differentials.

The dollar gained despite falling stocks on Thursday, which increased liquidity demand for the currency.
