Commodity markets experienced mixed results last week as investors digested the Federal Reserve's latest policy guidance and a decline in the U.S. dollar.

The dollar fell by 1.53% to its lowest level in several weeks, which offered some support to commodities.

Gold remained largely range-bound throughout the week, trading between $3,950 and $4,150, but failed to break above the latter level due to cautious investor positioning following the Fed meeting.

Crude oil prices retreated by more than 5% during the week as markets reassessed geopolitical risks and supply expectations.
