Drone Attack Disrupts Oil Loading Operations Near Ras Tanura
A drone attack on oil facilities near Ras Tanura in Saudi Arabia has prompted emergency measures at the port where a Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) chartered vessel was loading oil.
According to shipping sources, the attack occurred during oil loading operations for Pakistan, leading authorities to declare an emergency on the PNSC chartered vessel present at Ras Tanura port.
The Saudi Ministry of Defence confirmed that two drones were shot down near Saudi Aramco's Ras Tanura facilities, with no civilians injured in the incident.
A limited fire within the refinery complex was caused by debris from the intercepted drones, but it has been brought under control. The refinery adjacent to Ras Tanura port was shut down after the attack.
